Blue Heron has closed as a retail store but Mike is still kicking! Stay tuned .

My goal in the future is to resurrect Blue Heron as a clearinghouse for local woodworkers and area residents who need information about anything woodworking related.

It may take me a little while to revamp this website (and learn how to work this application), so please be patient. I am currently working on setting up my wood shop at my home and inventorying Blue Heron’s remaining stock. Once I have made some serious progress toward this goal I will send out an email to my Blue Heron customers to notify them that the website is up and running.

Discounted Festools? I have some of my Festool inventory that was not accepted for return by Festool and I have been given permission to sell that inventory at whatever discount I decide. It isn’t a lot of items but they are all unused with very minor packaging issues. I will compile a list of my discounted Festool items and send it out as an email also.

If you receive an email from me and want to be unsubscribed, please let me know via the email listed below. I only use this email list for woodworking related purposes and will never sell that information.

On the other hand, if you want to be included in my emails, send a request to the email below and I will add you to the list.

“It’s often the simplest of tools that gets the job done best”

We offer a wide selection of new woodworking tools and equipment, as well as antique hand tools, and used equipment. We have high standards when it comes to any tools or used equipment, we don't carry anything we wouldn't use in our own shop.

Upcoming Workshops

Since January of 2018 the Blue Heron School of Woodworking has been offering classes in a wide variety of woodworking areas. Check this website regularly for updates on class offerings.

Gallery is closed, too

The Blue Heron Gallery is located in the balcony and has works in wood by local woodworkers. It has a wide variety of style and products for sale. Unfortunately it only has stair access and is not wheelchair accessible.
