This is an extended class, meeting on 2 successive Saturdays, Feb 2nd, 2019 AND Feb 7th, 2019 from 10 am to 1 pm each day.

The kid brother to the band saw, scroll saws are furn, versatile, and relatively safe power tools that allow the user to make puzzles, intarsia, compound objects, nameplates, fretwork, and much more.  This class will cover the basic operation of the scroll saw.  It will teach basic saw safety, blade selection, cutting techniques, etc.  This hands on class is open to all skill levels and is a perfect parent/child class.  Students will leave the class with completed projects in hand as will as materials and extra blades to use at home.  Each paid participant or adult/child combo will have access the their own scroll saw to use during this session.
